Windsor Campus celebrates 2024 Awards of Excellence recipients
By Communications
What was first known as the “Windsor experiment,” the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry Windsor Campus has grown into a vital part of the community, providing critical health-care services to the City and beyond.
The Windsor Campus celebrated the faculty, staff and learners who received the 2024 Awards of Excellence – and marked the 13 th year honouring the dedication and hard work of those who represent the School’s values of excellence, belonging and accountability.
“It is an honour to be able to stand up here and formally recognize your exceptional talents and hard work,” Dr. Larry Jacobs, associate dean of the Windsor Campus, told guests at the event. “Your dedication, innovation, and perseverance are obvious – and I appreciate each of you for the impact, talent and excellence you bring to our School, our communities, and beyond.”
Not only did the evening represent an opportunity to recognize the School’s leaders, it also was a chance to highlight the important partnerships Schulich Medicine & Dentistry has developed in the region, including with the University of Windsor, City of Windsor and Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare.
